Iv been adding Goldex Household Ammonia to my aquarium and I havent been getting a reading of Ammonia. Its not my test kit because I did a seperate test and added a large amount of Ammonia and I ended up getting a reading.
I also did a search on this site for the Goldex Household Ammonia and realized many people were having this problem. I assume the reason for this is because there is very little Ammonia in the product. Sadly no one who started these threads ever responded saying what the problem was.
Im going to add a large amount of Ammonia today in my tank to try and get the 3-5 ppm reading. When I add the Ammonia how long should I wait till I take an Ammonia reading, will I see the difference right away? Or does it take time?
