FISHROOM

As for the floor in the room... what is it currently?

You should have some sort of drain in the floor like you would a laundry room. Will make an accidental spill much less worrisome.

I see Electrical has been adressed. Also look into the full plumbing for the room. See if you can tap into the hot and cold water lines in there and install a set of faucets to make cleaning your tanks easier. If possible even install a wash sink (you know the big ones in a laundry room?).

Did you happen to read my first post?

A drain seems not too bad an Idea. But that would involve alot of work that might be more costly than it's worth. I dunno, I'll have to take a closer look.

When rewiring, place the outlets, on the wall, above the water level in the tanks, so any flooding won't short anything and also to prevent having to make drip loops

I never thought of that. Or maybe what about some kind of cover around the outlets? I wonder what I could come up with there.(Or what has already been designed.)

A central air driven system for filtration.

Greater overall capability and increased tank volume.
