Fishy Flavor Chart

I watched how they make fish food on "Dirty Jobs." You have got a lot of guts! (pun intended) God bless you.

OH GOOD LAWD NOOOO SWANY, tell me that they didn't have a segment on the making of fish food on "Dirty Jobs" along side the one I briefly glanced at & grossed out over where they were scrapping terdy logs up in the sewer & condemned properties!!

IS IT THAT BAD????
:jaw: :thud:

On second thought, don't answer that! LOL

My dog loves veggie flakes.
HBH flakes are too expensive though.... he ravaged a large container!

Yup, I saw that one too :)

FD krill don't taste terrible either. They're kinda like squid jerky, very concentrated fish taste and salt.

lmao....I've tasted goldfish flakes dog biscuits and pedigree dog food...not bad at all.

haha, this thread makes me laugh. Reminds me of something I would do when I was younger.

Nice chart by the way.

some people can't accept someone eating an animal's food

it's not exactly that you ate it. . . it's that, unlike human-grade food, food made for animals has nowhere near the amount of restrictions placed on its production. there are no USDA overseers making sure that the food is free of contaminants or the factories are clean. they might have to clear out the cockroaches and rat babies from the machines every morning before production starts, and nobody says a thing about it. even in human grade food there are certain "liberties" allowed, like no more than 10 rat hairs in a jar of peanut butter, but nothing similar for pet food.

oooh, here's a link from the FDA website about acceptaable amounts of contaminants - mold, "insect filth", "rat filth", and "mammalian excreta". enjoy dinner tonight.
