Funny, just had that conversation with my daughter, that a fish probably can't tell the difference between a people finger and a racoon finger....and racoon fingers BITE!!
...and I would spend all day every day out there if the laundry and dirty dishes wouldn't come exploding out the windows after me!

cute. I love cats! in the past 2 years i have raised 1 abandoned kitten from 2 weeks old( nobody honestly thought he was gonna live but me so i fed him every hour) and 1 kitten from 6 weeks. Both have very special connections with me running to me if they are scared especially the one i raised from 2 weeks, he is now 16 weeks old, and when scared runs over and cuddles with me. I love my cats. I also have a cat we got a 12 weeks, not such an emotional bond.
ur not the only one who plays with there pond fish! i spend 1 hour with them everyday. they handfeed, swim against my hand and swim though a big hoop! i love my gorgeous pond fish! i wish mine would do wot urs is doing though!
Your not the only one out there, I spend a near hour or so out there playing with my fish. Surprisingly after only 1 month with them hand feeding was possible, its like a frenzy out there with 20 comets and 5 koi, all chasing after my finger. And for some reason they enjoy swimming onto my palm. They also follow me everywhere I go.

Mine aren't quite that brave but they will at least come up when i feed them. My great grandmother had a huge pond and had all her fish trained to come when she called and they would eat out of her hand. It was awesome.
