Fishycat's Photo Thread!

Very nice tanks! and i love the enw betta. White crowntails have always been my preference. ill someday have one :)

Thanks WeedCali, oops somehow missed your comment! I actually saw black crowntails the other week... very nice! $20 each. Sephy was $7.99 at Petco!

Updating again!!

I really didn't expect to update so soon, but I charged the camera batteries twice this week so I guess I was just in the mood!

Very excited to get a clear picture of my shrimp! Finally!!

I'm assuming this is a red ramshorn with the leopard shell - but the lighting makes the shell look so yellow! I'm sad to see the shell damage evident early on in his life. This reminds me I need to make more snell-o.

An even teenier snail I caught on the front glass...

Full shot of the 10 gallon... the water was very clear tonight. I've been dosing twice a week with Flourish Comprehensive and daily (or ever other day) dosing of Flourish Excel. The mosses are loving it - my flame moss is outgrowing my crypts!

And a bunch of CPD pictures - because I finally caught some clear shots!

One of my habrosus girls was being cute on the driftwood... chilling with da snails!

My moss rock that I'm letting run rampant in the corner - neat to look at when I am lying in bed.

A quickie shot of the 6 gallon (Eclipse). I'm seriously thinking of turning it into a dwarf puffer tank... but I worry about having to break it down when we move later and where I'd put the little guy. I definitely want to replant it, use eco-complete or fluorite sand or pfs (the gravel was what I had lying around, I hate it!), and go crazy with the plants! No wood, maybe an invert tank...

I almost killed all my water sprite (not entirely by accident), but managed to save a couple sprigs. I've got them floating with a thread anchor in the 20g but the growing is slow... Mr. Red seems to think I've made him a special hammock!

Rock a by, betta!

Betta are like cats. They believe that anything you bring home is most certainly intended for them to eat, play with or sleep on.
