I have a 3 incher, I thought a foot was a big one, and more usually around 10 inches, but Baltimore Aquarium has one that is about a foot and half if I remember corectly. Also there are 2 different species, Taernius sp? and Insgnius sp? Close enough.. but yea great fish I can't wait till mine starts to grow.
