flashing ???????

I had considered going shopping locally since the stuff is supposedly available non-prescription now. I may also call the vet and see what I can come up with

When you added the fish to the quarintine tanks (unless there were no fish in the regular tanks) you did not take all of the ich with them and it still lived on in the normal tank (assumeing and you still had fish in the tank) so when you added them back to the larger tank, you may have infected them again.
I would suggest reading the article on ich in the article section (how do you make hyperlinks in replys?) I leaned a whole lot about ich and every effective way to fight it in this article... il try to get the name of it out if i find it... its brobly called ICH or has ich in the name...

Lobo.
I think he did treat both the original tank and the fish that were removed, so assuming no gaps in treatment, and at least 1 teaspoon per gallon of salt ( he never really said) and no skimping on time frames Ich should be dead. From what I can gather all fish went through a two week treatment and so did the original tank. Two weeks is a little less than I would do, but should have been sufficient at elevated temps. Thus the ruling out of ich. If of course any of the above mentioned criteria were not met or the time frames listed were not complete for all tanks, then the ich could remain. as a rule if the fish were treated for more than a week after ich fell off it is dead. The other thing here is the fact that there is salt in the water they were returned to so it's unlikely (I think impossible) that ich hatched, went free swimming in slated water and found the gills of the host fish. I would be looking somewhere else as well at this point.

Daveedka,
You are correct assuming 1 tspn salt per gallon. All tanks have been treated for 2 weeks. The showtank (250g) was treated with the salt and high temp (90 degrees). The treatment tanks stayed at a temp of 86 degrees, with the same 1 tspn salt per gallon. I also used Rid*ich, 1 tspn per 10 gallons.
Last night i went to LFS and purchased Formalin. I gave them a quick bath
and besides the Lithobates displaying unusual aggresiveness ( could be the smaller tank), thier behavior seems to be somewhat normal again. So far, I havent seen any flashing. Seems like i once read good things about this Praziquantel. Havent made an effort to find it but you just motivated me. lol. Ill check out some prices too and let you know what i find. Buying in bulk is usually cheaper in the long run anyway, so i wouldnt mind doing that.
With only 3 Africans left, i think im gonna move onto my much anticipated project of raising Muskellunge (Muskys) in the 250g, and keep the Africans in my 58 gallon. Ever know anybody to keep musky's ? I have been researching and planning out this project for some time now, and think itd be pretty neat to keep a couple of native North American top predators, as they are absolutely awsome, and beautiful fish in my opinion.
Ty very much for your attention and advice. The links and info are very helpful. Ill keep posting my progress, and if you have anything to add feel free anytime.

Continued dipping ,20 drops formalin per gallon. I dipped them for 30 minutes every other day for 3 days. All fish seem to be fine, no flashing and displaying regular behavior. Flukes seem to be gone for now.Formalin seems to work quiete well.
