I got these floating plants when I bought my crystals yesterday. They're really neat and I'm interested in getting more, but I don't know what they're called! I tried to google "floating plants" but that's way too vague. I looked through a ton of sites and didn't really find luck in trying to match it :(

Hoping someone here can help me out!

Bottom view, the roots are short!

Ah.. not my plants but my shrimps!

Crystal reds/black and cherries :-)

The leaves are in circle shapes and don't match a water lettuce's leaves though :(

Yeah, looks like American Frogbit (=American Sponge Plant), Limnobium spongia. Are the leaves thicker towards the base, with large squarish 'cells'?

I was thinking the same thing, till I noticed people had long roots and I had really short ones :(. Maybe my plant is just a baby still. Ah well, thanks everyone for the help!
I guess I'll conclude that it is frogbit.
