floating plants and co2

i just got a bunch of clumpls of floating "grass" or so.

put it sits over my co2 difuser (sp?) will this effect my co2 that is being released? the bubbles go straight up to the grass. (i'm using the ladder method)

If it's sticking to the roots as lil bubbles instead of hitting the surface, it's helping you dissolve more CO2. Otherwise, no change I'd guess.
