Floating Plants With HOB

How do i keep my HOB filters from pushing my floating plants underwater? I have some duck weed that keeps getting pushed under and then sucked up by my filters. I also had some frogbit that died because it got battered by the water non stop.

I think the OP probably considered adjusting the flow if his filter has that option...

My Aquaclears on the lowest setting still blew my angelfish around, so the bottle trick worked out perfectly.

I never found a good solution for duck weed with an HOB. I ended up taking it out as it constantly clogged my filters. Once I got a canister, it was awesome.

Imo the only solution for any duckweed problem is to kill it with fire
