Floating plants?

I do not like Duckweed because of it's small size.
I like Water Lettuce and Salvinia molesta.

Elgecko is this what you use? In the discus tank, do you have anypics of your discus tank id love to see it :)

my hornwort grows like crazy. I think I have to prune it about every week. But it is good for fry cover which is why I bought it.

I have salvinia natans, smaller than the Salvinia molesta but big enough to control or get rid of if wanted. Each leaf is about 1/4-3/8 inch. The plant is neat, the 3rd pic show a bit more close-up. If you look under a microscope, it's got little hooks, like velcro.

Anyone else used this stuff?

I think i want some :)

That's pretty good. 5 plants and soon you'll have a tankful. I just got one with only a couple leaves on it, and it's already filling 3 tanks plus an extra plant nursery (a.k.a. unused quarantine tank). I used to throw handfuls away every week, but found an LFS who's willing to take it.

You are just in luck. I just snap some shots of the discus tank tonight to post on another forum.
