Which is better? is there a difference? i have a 20lb bag of gravel and im gonna mix it with one of these formy 75 gallon tank, should i get both and mix them all up?
Floramax or ecocomplete?

I use Eco-complete and really like it. I looked at the Floramax and didn't like the way it looks. I mixed Eco-Complete in with the natural gravel I had and it looks very nice. The plants love it as well. They have developed immense root systems rather quickly.
Eco-complete is good, nutrientwise, but be careful you don't get a bad bag. I've had a neverending problem of "dust" floating in the water that I completely attribute to the substrate--I'm not the only one with this issue. Also, it can raise your pH and hardness for a little while, but supposedly that should subside. OH ALSO-I expected it to be black, as I've heard, but it's always been brown.
