PMDD is old dosing based on Sears' old and falsified theory about PO4 limitation.
You should add the following to dose CO2 enriched systems to the water column:
Trace mix, CMS+B or Tropica, Seachem Flourish etc.
KNO3
KH2PO4(Missing from PMDD)
GH booster(mix of CaSO4, MgSO4, and about 50% K2SO4)
That is all one might need.
Keep trace solutions away from macro solutions.
You may dose dry also if the aquarium is larger than say 20 Gal.
Without CO2, things grow slower so things do not run out very fast, so dosing 10X less is fine.
If you use Excel, cut the dosing by about 1/3 vs full CO2.
