Flourite too Rough for Corys?

That's funny mine sleep right out front, but under the leaf of a amazon sword. Maybe it is due to my blind eyeless cory who is the mom. She doesn't seem to care where she sleeps and the others hang out with her.
Could be! What other fish do you have in there? Maybe mine feel more "threatened" than yours do, too?

I have white cloud minnows that never even notice the cories exist and 1 flyingfox that thinks it is a cory. He sleeps with or on the other cories, is twice as big and really goofy.

I have heard of someone having a sprout like that in their gravel once. I would go with 5-6 dwarf or pygme cories. They are great for planted tanks. I rarely see mine, even when they are awake. They hide in the back behind some stemmed plants under the heater. They used to be very active and peck around the gravel all over the tank. Now they just sit there.

Cories tend to hide away from ugly people.... ... ... ... :duh:

Ah, that could be it. White clouds are pretty peaceful. Mine are with rainbowfish, Melanotaenia parva. Those are small, but like all rainbowfish, really active. The cories don't stay away from them when they are out and about, but I guess they want peace and quiet while they are sleeping.

Pato! What did I tell you about letting people see that picture of me I sent you?
