What does the water look like is it turbid it sounds like it will be fine just pay attention to the fish if they are struggling to hang on cut it back or direct flow nozzle towards the side of the tanks glass..

you will be fine i have a 1200 a hour power head with 2 filters and they don't mind it. I think they actually like it cuz they swim against the current and then float to the other side like a slip and slide.
They have already started to ride the current and they seem to love it. I think they have colored even more after the current started.
The way I see flow in AC tanks is they hail from lakes that can have wave action in the 12-15' range.
