flowerhorns'

crud,the biggest I can get is a 60....he's a beautiful fish...its a shame to see him that way :(

he is in a 30-38 gal(been there since he was about 3")right now he's about 8"-9".

no..I just thought thats what he looked like(im very new to monster fish),he is cool to watch.
he comes to the glass and follows my hand :p:
 
honestly its ok to put a male rd in 55 gal until they reach 7-8". once that stage they start not to swim around as much as before....i had a pair in my 55 gal male was 6" and female was 4"...it was pretty small for them but they didnt mind =)

if he is still there when I get my 60 gal cycled(and found :D )I will probably get him...it would be better then his 30-38 gal anyway.

your male looks just like him,exept my future one has more white.
 
yea i hate to tell you this....their not pure rd or midas....their mixed (midas/rd)...lfs only carries mixed breeds its sad =(....eventually most rds become white as they grow
