I have a 55 gallon reef tank with a wet dry filter. I wanted to add a fluidized sand bed to it. Has any one done this... does it work or would it be useless. Let me know any pics would be great on how to do it.

Unless you're running a really crowded tank, there's no need for a fluidized bed filter at all. They are extremely efficient at removing ammonia, but a properly stocked tank should be fine without it. Why were you thinking of adding one?

I was just going to add one for extra filtration on the tank and to make sure i have no problems.... Have you seen it done before?
