One other thing probubly not related but has occurred on older units with a lot of use. If you notice that the seam or spacing between the motor lid and canister body noticeably spreads a little after the canister gets pressurized sitting under the tank on the floor this can also cause slow leaking or water seepage as the o-ring is moved out of position. This is due to the clamp down mechanism being stretched over time loosing some tolerance on older models, 304's and 404's which also had smaller or less robust clamp arms. To remedy you need to place a strip aluminum tape over the catch points that the arms grab onto which will displace or take-up the slack created over the years of use keeping the space between the canister body and motor lid to tolerance. Don't over due it use just enough tape to take up the slack.
