It's super simple to attach the spray bar to the hose, just use a barb to threaded adapter like in this thread (1st and 2nd picture). I would use 3/4" PVC, as the 1/2" will reduce your flow too much. Start with 1/8" holes and work from there, you can always make them bigger, but never smaller.

i always stick the end of my tubing in almost boiling water which makes it easy to slip on and when it cools it makes a very tight connection then i use a hose clamp and never have had a hose come off yet.

now with spray bars how are the normally angled? so it sprays up out of the water a bit or horizontal or slightly downward? Might be silly but I thought I would ask anyways
