A built in conductivity meter is a great thing for black water or marine tanks. If it was a built in conductivity controller that could be used to control an ATO pump I'd be inclined to look more seriously at getting one.

i'd rather buy curtains and decorate my living room than buy this canister and decorate under my tank. idk, maybe it's me? bells and whistles on a pretty box that doesn't compare to others in the same price range... or even less. that's what i'm seeing. by the specs on this thing it looks like my $100 cascade will keep up with the $500 g6. what a disappointment.

This filter is not for a serious hobbyist - it's for a rich, mid life crisis jerk or a young trust fund d-bag who wants to show off to people. It would go just great with some hair gel and a popped collar.
