FLUVAL n04 vs n05

So far the only FLUVAL's I have seen discussed here are the x04 and FX5 models. What about the x05 models? Does anyone have any experience?

Also, the manager at my local pet store indicated that alot of the x05 FLUVALs have been returned, any comments?

I don't have any experience with the 05 models, but from examing one in the store and reading thru the manuals and such they seem to be mostly a cosmetic update of the 04 models. I could be wrong, but this is just what I observed. I can't really comment on the return rate of the 05s, but I would be interested in why they are being returned rather than the actual rate of return. I mean if most the returns were from people who felt they were too hard to set up compared to powerfilters that doesn't mean much to me.

There is no differance in the two filters. the 05's just look cooloer. Like getting a new car, no better just better looking :sim:

I just bought an 204 and the 205 model was over 40 dollers more

That was a easy choice
