fluval pressurized co2

I use the bubble counter and diffuser and they work great but I believe the small tank that kit uses would run out very quickly when used on a ten gallon.

I would get this and replace the bubble counter and diffuser to if you want and get a 5lb (or larger) co2 tank locally: http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+3747+9935&pcatid=9935

Dang!! I can get a CO2 tank easy. I would have loved to buy that kit. I just ordered the fluval kit with the little 88g cartridges. Hopefully it was worth it.

Yeah I wonder if I can modify they setup to incorporate a small 9oz paintball co2 tank. I also wonder if the little 88g co2 cartridges are easily obtainable from places other than haagen

There are adapters, but so far no one with one of the Fluval kits has tried one and posted the results. There are lots of speculative posts but no experience.

I've been curious about this product myself lately. I actually saw it at a lfs and they were charging $150 for this kit. Good thing I didn't get it, lol. I don't know why, but playing around wit CO2 seems so intimidating to me.
