Got it for $80. Cut out the middle-man I guess. If the small cartridges end up costing too much and running out I'll get that conversion for paintball tanks.

Interested to see how it turns! Its about the only set up that will work for my tank so hopefully it works well and is economic to a sense
The regulator is threaded to thread onto the tank so you might be able to make a threaded adapter to convert to a co2 bottle for a paintball gun! Which would give the more co2 with out needing the space for a 5lb tank
Ok so I got mine in and its just like the little paintball co2 cart except 88g. Thats good because its big but its bad because I can get those paintball sized carts for free and they wont fit inside it. Also, I've had it installed for 3 days and it's already empty...now I have to go without co2 while I wait to get paid and order more. On top of that, they are $13.99 each....would I be better off buying a paintball tank and regulator off CL?
if you can find one yes. any time you cant refill its not cheap. best is a normal regulator and 2.5 pound tank.
Go to a plumbing store and get an adapter, then get the large paintball tank. I have a 20 oz paintball tank and it costs about $4 to fill it.
