Hi, New girl here....I've read some threads already before signing up and still have a Q.

I just added "Live Aragonite sand to my freshwater 55gal tank. I know it will take time to settle, but should I put my charcoal filter on at all?.....or take out filters and run it.....or leave it off all together until it settles down.

Hope that's not a stupid Q!

Welcome to AC. Live Aragonite is used for marine tanks and claims to have live marine life in it. Nothing that should live in a FW tank...and frankly I have my doubts there is anything beneficial to a SW tank in it as well.
