Food... Kens

I have a growing stock of Mbuna- (socolofi, acei, L. caeruleus, etc.)

I also have some SA/CA- Silver dollar, firemouth, (JDempsey, Parrot) friends

with some clown loaches and a hifin/rubber lipped pleco.

1. What varieties of Kens foods should i consider?
2. I'll be ordering with a friend (2JD's 2Parrots of good size)
3. Flake,pellet,wafer...ahh.. so many choices!

My mbuna LOVE the catfish pellets and veggie flakes.

The veggie flake for the mbuna, cichlid mix for the other cichlids, and maybe the catfish pellets for both.

Any of those would be fine with the veggie foods for the mbuna and silver dollars. You do realize though, that the veggie sticks with calcium are the same as the veggie sticks except they have the calcium added for inverts.

Veggie sticks rock for all my fish..... They turn into bottom feeders...lol.

the calcium veggie sticks are also really commonly used by breeders especially of herbivorous fish (Ken said pleco breeders in particular are seeing better results using the food with additional calcium)

yessir... I do.

Wasn't sure if too much calcium would be bad for fish..

What's the consensus on how Ken's foods compare to Hikari? That's pretty much what we currently feed the fish (Hikari) but I'm interested to know how people feel Ken's compares. I hadn't heard of Ken's before this message board and it seems to be so popular that I am intrigued. Thanks!
