I have 2 corys that i generally feed algae wafers... i also feed them little tiny bits of carrots...they seem to love the stuff although ive never heard of corys eating carrots...lol
anyhow, my 6 lemon tetras have finally figured out how to follow the corys until they find the wafers and then they take the algae wafers for themselves... i feed them flakes 2 times a day and krill every 3 days so... i dont know if thats jsut in their nature of what lol
how do i prevent this?? b/c the corys arent getting their fair share of food at the moment

that's odd, but i cories will find bits and pieces of food on the bottom of the tank regardless. maybe you should try concentrating the lemon tetra school and feeding them on an opposite side of the tank where the cories aren't. i would also put the wafers in at night. i'm sure the tetras should be sleep then. the only wafer hoarding i've seen in my other animals was when my female and male ADFs fended off the cories from getting to the wafers by nipping. they're odd little fellows

Corys are mainly meat eaters. Try dropping sinking food in at lights out- the corys will find it.
