ha ha ha...i thought about that for when my daughter comes to see me...So, i thought genius, put the fish food trays inside Zip-Lock bags and normal ice as normal, just on the freezer shelf...that way she would not get the wrong one and have a smelly drink of juice....lol....

Well, I ended up getting a 'trigger mix' by formula. Even though i don't have a trigger, it looked like a good medley of ingredients.

So, I get home, i cut a piece off a cube and drop it in, and it sinks right to the bottom, in between my rocks.

Damnit. I didn't see that one coming!

Yeah you should defrost is RO or tank water. The sudden cold shock to your fish if they eat it first is not good.

Seriously, JoJo is right...Plus frozen foods sometimes carry phosphates aswell...

u can also use the aquarium water as well.
its better so they dont get a shock of fresh water...lol
