It doesn't look good but, it might come out of it. Give it a few days and if it starts to melt or if it looks any worse remove it . I'd also keep it in the shade a bit and see if it perks up. I'd also try to keep nitrates below 5 ppm and keep a pretty close eye on it. I've seen zoo's recover from some pretty major issues.
