the shipping weight of the light strip alone is almost 6lbs. You can use www.usps.com to calculate shipping rate. Another option is ups since their prices are lower on heavier items.
yes, and they insure the packages. I would rather just go have the whole package weighted and let you all know the weight monday. Also please do not ask me to seperate the lights and strip, I said I can not do that and I won't thanks
yes this light is fine for a 29g, i have the same thing over a 29g with java ferns and low light plants. enough light for medium light plants for sure!
I really wrestled with loosing my 29 and keeping the 55. I never liked how the plants did in the 55 gallon tank, nor did I like cleaning that tank. Sooo long story short, I put the 29 back up, and sold the 55. I'm am happy, it took so much room in my living room so now with it gone, I am thrilled to have my 29 back up, my light and plants in and on it and it made me happy. I was sad to see my tanks go, but 4 was to much for my living room. Im down to 3 ( set one back up for quarantine for 2 weeks) so now will only have 2 , my shrimp and snail tank, and my comunity tank. the guy who took the 55 was pretty happy, he got the tank, the stand, the emperior and the 130 watt coralife , and the glass tops, the gravel and I threw in plants.
