I am looking for suggestions on a foreground plant.I like the micro swords, but I don't want it taking over and carpeting the whole bottom of my tank. Something low to medium light.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
This for a 29g tank,with a Florite/Gravel bed.Thanks,JeffM.

I like the Hemianthus micranthemoides.

It's a beautiful plant, but doesn't it require brighter light than the original poster has? (Though, looking online, I see everything from "medium" to "very bright.")

How much light do you have?

If you want something that won't spread alot, Crypts or Anubias would be good, especially in low light. Carpeting plants will spread, but you can control them by trimming and moving them out of areas you don't want them in. Most carpeting plants need atleast medium light.
