I'm kind of brainstorming idea for a 75G freshwater tank. I currently have two 30G tanks, and have several different loaches in both. I did some research and believe I'd like a Fork Tail Loach (Vaillantell Maassi). Has anyone had experience with this fish, and is it something a LFS could easily get?

I'd really like something more "serpentine" as a part of this tank. I'm not interested in a Bichir (already tried that, plus if possible I'd like this tank to be more of a community tank) and I'd like something that is or will become longer. I currently have a horseface loach in one tank who is about 3" long, and a dojo loach in the other tank that's between 3" and 4" long.

Any help on the fork tail, or suggestions on other serpentine fish would be greatly appreciated.

It wasn't too long ago when I was thinking of getting myself one. Reaches 6" and territorial with one another I believe. I've never seen them in a LFS, but I know Franksaquarium is selling them for $10.
