I found an earthworm in my molly tank that I may have put in about a couple of months ago. Is this safe? Will the worm make it? I also have 4 silver dollars in the tank also. Will the worm breed in a tank?:confused::confused:

if your sure its an earthworm than you must have well oxygenated water, which is good. but if it died it could really mess up your water, take it out. they cannot breed by themselves

I agree with the above. That is funny that you care so much about earthworms. You should have a lawsuit against mfk. :)

earthworms can live in water they drowned. that is why they come out when it rains to get away from water,..

More likely a leech. A pic would help.

My dad says he finds these guys all the time in his pond filter.

Earthworms would have drowned by now. Do you wonder why earthworms come out when the ground becomes soaks heavily in water? Did you look up annelids or detritus worms as the likely candidates?
