Okay...this looks like part of the rocks but when you look close it seems to be a clam/scallop/oyster type shape built into the rocks. I would never have noticed it but then the "mouth" shut on it the reopened as I watched with the flashlight.
Can you see it in these pics? and do you know what it is? One picture it is more closed, the other it is open more and you can see the white "flesh" inside.
I'm really loving the little reef but I hope this doesn't turn out to be another "Bad Guy" like the sundial snail . Which have yet to make an appearance. I think I will go on to bed and get up in an hour or so to see if they are out yet.
