I got some Flourish Excel and dosed the tank. My Brigsii closed up and floated tot the top. One nerite just left the tank. The other one seemed unaffected. I did some research and it seems that this a is a isomer of a disinfectant.

Can I add it to a tank with snails?

I've never had any issues with snails and excel, up to 2x the recommended dose. But I do make sure to squirt in into a filter outlet when they are no where near it, so that they dont get a lung/gill full of it.

I'm having no problems with it so after three weeks of use, but I only dose about 2/3 the recommended amount.

My tank is full of MTS, and they've had no problem with Excel.

mts aren't a very good indicator for invert sensitivity, ime. They're nigh on indestructible.

Unless you send in assassin snail babies and their parents
