I just wrapped up the work I was doing on Kate's 20L thought I'd share the final product with ya'll

Introducing Jack
Not much has happened recently. I've picked back up on my ferts and most of the plants are really perking back up again. On a side note my Dwarf Gourami kicked the bucket with no warning. Saw him on a Friday night and he was perky begging for food and showing off. No signs of anything out of the ordinary. In fact he was one of my shiniest most vibrant and colorful fish even on Saturday morning when i found him dead. just sitting in the bottom of the tank, i actually thought he was alive and i was stupid for quite some time...Anyways, checked the Params nothing was out of whack so wth...I've read that they're known for dropping dead without a good excuse so I'm gonna have to chock him up to that. Anyways....loosing him and looking at an empty tank and trying to figure out what to restock it with (the badidae all share the other 10gal...it was a waste of space to have them distributed) made me angry at 10gallons and so I've decided to get rid of them during the move and break it down to a 125 SA, 55tanganyika, 20 multies, a couple of beta houses and a 55 for "Jack" who is going to grow out in the gourami's old home for a couple months until the move...stupid formatting...pictures inc in reply

So, here is another photo update. I've done some work here, pruned allot out of the 50 and painted the chi...just thought I'd play with a camera for a while...enjoy.
These are all of the 50, I've decided to pull the floaters and have been dosing ferts to help some of the plants perk up. I'd kindof hit a threshhold with growing and wanted to see what i could do to help. I'm going to reply for each of the tanks so the photos don't get things too slow. Please ask any questions you have, comment or critique...I'm starting to feel like i'm talking to the wall here lol.

I've pretty much never changed anything on this tank, its just tried and true, no deaths wiggles, sicknesses or even broken hardware knock on wood. Only problem is that i've had to pull about 5 lbs of sand on waterchanges since they try to bury the filter intakes every week.

Here is the Chi with its new background as well as Kate's community, I'm much happier with the chi now. Also, i snagged some good pics of her bolivians, anybody want to take a shot at sexing them? please? i pretty much have no idea lol.
Okay, so, I've got some of Jack who turns out to be just about the coolest little bugger i've met, he's got tons of personality and learned very quickly what my purpose in life is (i.e. bringing him food)
also, there is my other male beta and a shrimp i thought was particularly nice looking tonight.
