Fragging Demo

yeah. I thought it was funny. Guess he isn't used to seeing romaine lettuce in the water. LOL Perhaps next time try a nice spinach salad with a balsamic dressing. LOL

Funny you mention this Grins cos I just happened to go to my first Local Reef Club meeting. I didn't even know there was one in my area and just found out about it. Turns out, this month's meeting was at my LFS, and they had a fragging demo too!! Unlike yours, it was only a demo and I didn't actually get to frag myself.

I did end up winning a door prize though! Won a fair sized zoo colony! Came home, took a rock out of the tank to attach it to, and ended up with super glue all over my fingers!! My right hand feels like sandpaper today! ha!

Cheers!

I had rubber gloves that I use for tank cleaning, rearranging rock etc, and I thought about using them ... but then I thought ... hmm ... but they might end up sticking to the rock/coral ... funny how I didn't think about the fact that it might be my fingers that end up sticking together instead! :duh:

I tried the big rubber gloves as well and they wouldn't work for me ... too bulky to let me grip onto something without knocking over other stuff! So, I went down to Walgreens and got me some store brand powder-free latex gloves ... they're real thin but still strong enough against the jagged rock edges ... work like a charm for me!

Good grief!! I can't think of any reason why any one would want those .. unless of course there's some really toxic creature in the water! Or, if they allergic to the tank water?! ha ha! I wouldn't be caught dead in those myself!
