A "skinny" discus is usually in the last stages of a bacterial infection and is almost impossible to save. By that point, they cannot recover no matter what you do.

I would suggest that you read a few books on discus to determine proper care (hint: blackworms are NOT on the menu), and then purchase some healthy fish from a reputable breeder and try again.

Harry, I agree "skinny" is not good, but for those new to Discus it may be tough to know what "skinny" is...
For example, some may think this is skinny, when it's not..

Scott, don't give up on discus, if you start with healthy fish the outcome is much better. Discus also do better in a group and without the tankmates you have. Calmer fish are a better choice.
 
Thanks for the support I just think I need to do some studying first and learn a little more. By the way the fish was not necessarily skinny as in laterally I would say emaciated would have better described it as the stomach area was shrunken. Thanks again and maybe I will try again later.
