All samples are on their way. Please keep in mind that the spirulina flake is a very heavy vegetable based food so if your fish aren't used to eating veggies it may take them some time to realize it's food. Also, I am shipping via letter envelope, so if the flakes are decimated, yell at your mailman. =P

Once I start selling these products in oz quantities they will be shipped either first class via bubble mailer or priority, and packaged in foil lined resealable packaging.

The veggie flakes were a hit. I absolutely love the ingredient list too, that's the most veggie laden food I've ever seen. Some of the fish spit them out, but those were more the ones who do not eat veggies much. Do you have a pellet with the same ingredients? My fish are not used to flake and I think the big guys thought I was messing with them as they'd eat and then look like wtf, I thought I just ate some food but there is nothing in my mouth. Fish I fed the flake to include: tetras, danios, barbs, CA/SA cichlids, african cichlids (malawi, tang, victoria), pictus, and my SW clownfish. The clownfish is a WC clown but readily accepted the flakes. I will try the vitamin flakes tonight.

I hope they made it there in a little better than powder form. No telling how the sorting machines and mail handlers smash them up. The guy at the post office was smashing one in front of me to get it to fit into the sorter better and I'm like agggh.

Lab- If I can find it I will let you know. I know what you mean about the bigger fish, pellets also make the feeding process more simplified. As for veg pellets, I am using kens veg+calcium. it has a decent ingredient list also, not quite as good as this flake in particular, but still really good nonetheless. This is one of my staples (for my shrimp especially) so I have at least a lb of it around at any given time. I already put some in an envelope for you to try.

10% success rate so far...

So far, the spirulina flake is a hit with:

Golden Marbled Angelfish
Black Angelfish
Firemouth Cichlid
Jewel Cichlid
African Featherfin Catfish

Acei Cichlid
Albino Zebra Cichlid
Maingano Cichlid
Kenyi Cichlid
Auratus Cichlid
OB Peacock Cichlid
Afra Cichlid
Yellow Lab Cichlid
Synodontis Ocellifer

I'll be trying the other flake in my Rainbowfish community tank when I get off work, and I'll post the results back here.

It did arrive to me in pretty much powder form, but I expected it, being that it had to travel all the way to Oregon. The fish sure didn't seem to care!

Got mine! Going to give them a go tonight and will report back :)
