Crap, the tank I was getting got dropped before I could get it :irked:

How long could these guys last in a 55g(QT)? They look so cramped

Other than the shubunkin, they'd be fine in a 55 long term. Don't mix fancies with shubunkins. Shubunkins, comets, and common goldfish are fine together, but they swim faster than fancies and will hog the food.

I had to move the long-bodied babies out of the tank because the fancies took all of the food :headshake2:

most of the time that is true, but our fantail does just as good if not BETTER than some of our comets and our common. we also try to target feed which helps alot.

Well I am getting my guys a big tank soon.. They are giving me the pouty faces now, they're in a 12g since the tank broke.. Lordy I'm glad they're tough fishies.. with any luck I should be setting them up tomorrow.
