I am still looking for a good home for my nearly 3 inch long green spotted puffer. I have him available to anyone that either has or is willing provide an appropiate home for him. For pick up only, in Toronto. An appropriate home would be a brakish water tank, 20 gallons or more, with a specific gravity of at least 1.010. Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks.

Technically no, it is not a saltwater fish. It is a brackish water fish that does best in high brackish to marine water. Why do you ask?
I wish i had read this before i went to the petstore yesterday. I just bought a 4'' figure 8 and a 3.5'' green spot. They were $10 each. Now i am pissed.
I am also driving to Toronto in a week or so for a 1/2 weeks vacation. It would have been perfect, but i guess i am a day too late.

HEY-are you willing to ship him? i would love to hava a puffer. Im not sure of my relative grav. yet, but i currently have one tblsp. salt per 5 g. in my 75 long. here are the fish i have in there:
7 platys
2 huge goldfish
two large mystery snails(gold) which can be moved if needed
2 rainbow sharks
1 black skirted tetra
4 zebra danios
3 cories paleatus
1 baby corie (bronze something?)
2 rosy barbs
1 pink kisser-male
I think thats all. Anyway-if he needs higher salt content, ive been thinking about increasing a little. i would be willing to pay shipping if you can get him to MN. pm me ok?

Thanks for the interest but the puffer has found a new home long ago(almost 3 years ago). So he is no longer available.
