If interested, and LIVE IN SOUTH CAROLINA, I have a couple free yellow bullhead catfish. My tank's getting overcrowded as they are growing.

They're finger-sized and healthy, will eat anything (fish food is fine, especially pellets). MINIMUM tank size, 55 gallons.

Will live in nearly any water that is clear and fairly clean. Will hide a bit in the day except if they think it's chowtime.

They grow, supposedly, to over 20", but most people I've known with them have kept them for several years in a 55 gal and they made it to about 14 inches.

Can be kept with most other non-bite-size natives of SC, and also with most oscar-sized cichilds. Water over 75F isn't good if constant, but under 75 is fine. I have kept them with Dempseys, Midas, convicts, and jade gobies, paradise gouramis, and of course other natives.

click here for some great info on yellow bullheads. I just found this site today.

email me if you live in the SC (Charleston) area. Maybe I'll take ya to my favorite fishin hole and put you on some real catfish.
