Freebie 55G with broken brace...

I grabbed my 55 gallon tank by the center brace and it snapped. I figured it was for the lights and would be okay, it was not. I had on odd shapped bow tank. I drained the water and then drilled four tiny holes (two on each side) of the broke brace, I then took wire, I think it is for hanging pictues and "sewed" up the brace. Since I just snapped what was there, I also super glued the two pieces. I also have electrical tape over it all. I have forgot all about that, this was years ago. I am still using the tank.

One of my 55g brace was broke and the person that I bought it from just used aquarium silicone to fasten in a piece of 1/4 inch thick glass about 6 inches wide. I have had it for 4 years with no problem.
