Are there nutritional differences between freeze dried and frozen foods? For example, are frozen bloodworms better than freeze dried?

there was an article in TFH over the summer and the author spoke to a nutritionalist who basically said, no, there isnt any difference. but frozen does have a higher chance of becoming spoiled.

So if the nutritional value is the same, is there still any benefit to frozen over freeze dried? For example, will freeze dried foods expand in the stomach or allow air bubbles to interfere with digestion?

frozen foods are more accessible to bottom feeders. when i tried freeze-dried bloodworms they were very small, not broken, just small, and i couldn't get them to sink. even my betta ignored them. frozen worms are a hit in the whole tank.
