Fresh water Ozone and U.V.

Anybody ever use Ozone with U.V. on a fresh water system?
Once the ozone is done oxidizing waste I'm wondering what effect the U.V. might have on any residual that is still in the water leaving the ozone reactor.

I was thinking of posting in the marine area but I'm also not sure that the two types of water would necessarily react the same way.

All I know is (1) Ozone (O3) absorbs UV and (2) UV forms ozone by breaking up O2.

Lost me there. How would an O3 molecule absorb light waves? I was thinking that the UV might act sort of like microwaves on food and excite the O3 molecules and break bonds. (knew I shoulda stayed awake in Chem class).
