Fresh water puffer

I thaink a puffer would be cool in my tank.
But all I here is that they are basterds and will bite my other fish.
Case closed is this true.
1 yellow tail barracuda
3 vampire tetra
1 sting ray
1 13" Tire track eel
1 bolvirain snub nose
1 needel nose gar
1 black gost knife
2 bristil nose pleco
1 cat fish
ALL IN A 250 GAL want to sell 1 or 2 Vampire tetra
AND BYE PUFFER IF IT WONT BIT MY FISH

i think dwarf puffer is too small, get eaten in a second..
