I heard about a woman at work that had a "large" aquarium she kept. So when I ran into her I asked her how large it was.

She replied, "120 gallons".

"That's a good size." I said, "Is it freshwater or salt?"

She told me it was saltwater.

"Man, why does everyone around here have saltwater tanks?"

She replies bluntly, "Because freshwater fish are ugly."

I felt like smacking her.

IMO, with the 'common' fish you see in most pet stores, the SW fish do tend to be more colorful.
