what types of community fish should a buy for a 10-20gallon tank????????:help:

If you are going with a planted setup, around 12 neon tetras.

I think consistancy is better community tanks, but you could also add harlequin rasboras or glow-light tetras.

so these r the fish im going to get danios 1 bullfrog 1 African dwarf 1 catfish 1 otto 1 dwarf puffer 1 bb goby guppies and gambusia
and could you put a bull frog tadpole and african dwarf frog together

Dwarf puffers are actually very territorial once older I think I read and do better with no tank mates at all unless it's a male or female or a male and multiple females but even then it's not set in stone. You could have a couple ottos I was reading on the dwarf puffer forum and those should be fine.

First off, what size tank specifically? 10-20 offers a variety of dimensions which is important for stocking.

bullfrogs are NOT fully aquatic and a tadpole is likely to not survive.

"catfish" is a very broad term. Most smaller species are social anyways.

Otos should be kept in groups if possible.

DP's are not community fish. BB gobies are also social.

Guppies and gambusia have a potential to hybridize but probably wont in a normal community setting. Either way gambusia can be nasty.

specific tank size is needed to give you a good idea of what you can have and what will be compatible.

As for the bullfrog tadpole, I would not mix that in with a community tank. The african dwarf frog, depending on what the tank mates are, may be compatible.
