"Freshwater" Flounder

I saw a "freshwater flounder" at the pet store today. It was pretty cheap and tempting, but google wasn't working on my phone so I came home empty handed, lol. Without a species name I'm pretty much stumped. ANyone have any experience with these guys?

I believe they get 8-10 inches and will eat small fish.

no i was gunna get 8 to ten of them they only get to be about 1.5 inches big and they are pretty well flat and eat diritris

There are many different kinds with most being brackish

It's only a good idea in theory. This is the place where the lady looked at me like I had 5 heads when I asked if they sold driftwood.

Stick with the hillstream loaches, they're just as awesome looking and much easier to get along with in the long run...
