To start off I purchased what the LFS called "Clown Gobies". I try searching for pictures of these and I haven't had alot of luck. I was told they have them in freshwater. I picked up 3 of this I was just wondering if there is a site that has information on freshwater gobies. The three I have have one stripe going from the top of the body to the bottom. I will try to get a picture of them on here tonight. Thanks for any responses.

Also just to add, I've been told a few times by my LFS that the gobies they were selling me were "fine in freshwater". I didn't really think about the way they said it til I got home and realized they were brackish but the LFS keeps them in freshwater so they thought it was fine.

That said I've also kept brackish gobies (bumblebee) in freshwater without any noticeable problems and been encouraged to do so by others on AC (and discouraged at the same time lol) so once you ID them look real hard and see what others ave done

Need pics of them, they don't sound like true clown goby's which is good since they're marine only.

Looks to be Redigobius balteatus. I've seen a lot of these lately. Cute gobies too.

Ah, I posted pictures of the same species of Goby recently! They are definitely a Brackish water fish. Yours are quite a bit healthier than mine were too.
