I plan on getting a FW toadfish!!! woo hoo!!! :dance :dance :dance

However,I need opinions on whether or not it would be a good idea to put it in a 20 gallon long tank. I plan on a 20 g long because its a lethargic bottom dwelling fish, so it would want more width and length rather than tallness.

Not sure on the specs on the 20 long, but I think I'll get a 20 long for about $20-$30, and an aquarium heating system and filter separately for about $40.

What I'm worried about it the cover, there will be no real cover unless I hopefully find one, so I am not sure what to do here... But I'm sure I can find one.

So it'll be all by itself with some decor, I'm gonna put a rock on one side of the filter, so the current is nice and slow for him. I then will put gut-loaded GS and gut-loaded feeders.

No takers?

I know this guy that has one of these living in his sump.
He keeps asking if I want it. Of couse I tell him no.
My plan is to get baby fish when I re-start my tank.

I should have him log on and check out this forum and see if he want to give it to you.
I'll tell him. Tuesday.

LFS is moving it will be two or three blocks further away in the other direction.
200 square feet less floor space. They said that they are going to cut down their stock. Great they didn't have anything before and now they will have even less of nothing. Gee, they are the only LFS in 35 miles. I think I might just have to start doing road trips to chi' town (Chicago) to get a better selection.

How am I gonna get it? I live in DALLAS...

Takes a 30x12 29 gallon lid.

He is willing to but you would have to pay for shipping.
I don't know if it is worth all that. Not for a fish that you usually can commonly find on the market.

It is 5" - 6"+ in length.
It lives in his sump (29 g tank), full marine.

Full Marine??? All right, I guess I will have to give marine a shot at it... How much is shipping?
